Judge Finds MacDonald Law Office Client Not Guilty of Dui

A MacDonald Law Office client was recently found not guilty of all charges in a DUI trial heard in the Wicomico County District Court. A judge found the client not guilty of DUI and DWI after an hour long trial. Criminal defense attorney Andrew MacDonald represented the Client for his trial.

The client was stopped by a Maryland State Trooper for an inoperative brake light. The Trooper did not observe any moving violations. The client performed well on his standard field sobreity tests and refused the breath test. The trooper focused his direct testimony on the minor mistakes made by the client during his field sobriety tests. On cross-examination, Mr. MacDonald focused the trooper's testimony on all the things the client did right on the field tests. For example, the client was able to hold his foot up for a full count of 30 seconds during the one leg stand test. This verdict demonstrates that judges in the Wicomico County District Court will find DUI suspects not guilty when the evidence is insufficient and a skilled attorney is willing to invest the time in a trial for his client.
